I went to public school.
So, for me, home ec meant a field trip to the grocery store with the teacher that one time, a guest speaker who taught us how to sauté onions, writing a padded children's storybook, and the single sewing project that lasted a whole semester.
I'm so glad it's not that way for my daughters.
I'm so thankful to be the one to teach them the skills of homemaking right here at...home.
What an honor it is to homeschool.
