Aida started her first college course this week ... getting her EMT certification.
Aida is a natural first responder, so it doesn't surprise me that she's really interested in the potential applications of becoming an emergency medical technician. It's a lot of work and a full load and due to COVID, it's almost entirely online (which has actually been a blessing). Having been homeschooled, she's been fully prepared for independent accountability to her schoolwork. I can see clearly how much her educational background has benefitted her in this situation. And she loves it. And she's learning lots. And we'll see where this takes her from here...but it's hard to believe my baby is in college.

Then he set him on his own animal and brought him to an inn and took care of him. And the next day he took out two denarii and gave them to the innkeeper, saying, ‘Take care of him, and whatever more you spend, I will repay you when I come back.’ Which of these three, do you think, proved to be a neighbor to the man who fell among the robbers?” He said, 'The one who showed him mercy.' And Jesus said to him, 'You go, and do likewise.'"
