BACK TO SCHOOL 2020-2021

And we have a new kindergartener this year!

(my graduate homeschool helper)

(traditions)

Down by 2 this year, still homeschooling 9 grades K-10.

(plus a little extra help from my grads)

I am SO thankful for the gift of education at home.

"You shall teach them diligently to your children, and shall talk of them when you sit in your house,
and when you walk by the way, and when you lie down, and when you rise."
Deuteronomy 6:7

FIRST JOB

My high school homeschool grads got their first (real) job...

(first day pic)

TOGETHER...At Trader Joe's!

And although it's been an adjustment having them gone from home more these days,

I can see that they are enjoying their new job so much, so that makes my mama heart happy.

And there are perks!

(bless my heart)

Even better, most of their friends from their Bible study work with them, which is so great knowing they're surrounded by Christian co-workers and fellowship. I'll admit it's hard to see my babies grow up and send them off on adult ventures, but it's a new season and it feels right as they're maturing to watch them spread their wings, prepare to fly in time. And so it goes and my babes got their first job.

"When I was a child, I spoke like a child, I thought like a child, I reasoned like a child.
When I became a man, I gave up childish ways."
1 Corinthians 13:11
